I can't believe I've been living in New York for almost two months! It all seems so surreal. As I've mentioned in various posts, this past year has been full of facing my fears head on. It was evident that I had outgrown Tucson, Arizona and I had intentions to move, but the actual act of leaving scared me.
Here I am two months later & I don't regret my decision at all. To see your dreams manifest daily is such a wonderful feeling.
Yesterday was such a beautiful day to explore and of course take pictures. One thing I appreciate about New York is the ability to be any and everything you want to be. No one questions why you're "dressed up"—Tucsonians lingo for when someone is wearing anything besides Rainbow flip-flops, shorts, and a tank top.
I definitely channeled the Jacksons (MJ & Janet's Rhythm Nation) with this BCBG blazer; isn't the detail on the lapels beautiful? I've noticed that boots are a city essential. No matter the season you will see men and women rocking them with all types of outfits. I'm a West Coast girl who loves sandals, but these boots are everything.
What do you think?
